All my books are novels for adults with romance as their primary theme but exploring other aspects of life from history to fantasy with people sometimes caught in dangerous situations who must find their way to a safe landing. Some are connected books, with continuing characters-- where a secondary character might show up in a new book as a hero/heroine. Each book stands alone with no cliff hangers.

Because mine vary for the 'heat' level, I devised this chart. If you find a book that interests you, look for the hearts. Some books with strong language or mild profanity.

♥ ------holding hands, perhaps a gentle kiss
♥♥ ---- more kisses but no tongue-- no foreplay
♥♥♥ ---kissing, tongue, caressing, foreplay & pillow talk
♥♥♥♥ --all of above, full sexual experience including climax
♥♥♥♥♥ -all of above including coarser language and sex more frequent

Luck of the Draw

Billy Stempleton is one of a new breed of cowboy. He's on his way to being at the top of his sport-- bareback and bull riding. He has a goal to get enough money to buy the ranch he could gain no other way. He is an athlete more than a wild and woolly cowboy, part of a new breed of cowboys in 1974, when the sport was changing. What Billy does not want is to find the right woman at the wrong time.

Sarah, a want to be painter, doesn't have the direction to her life that Billy does. She's young, drifting, still living with her parents.

This cowboy excites her but he also means she'd have no chance for a nice, safe, secure life. And so the adventure begins. How it will turn out is the luck of the draw.
